Research & Development

Unveiled at the Düsseldorf exhibition Aluminium 2012, ALTEK’s range of Compact Presses have had, and continue to develop great interest in the aluminium industry. Incorporating the latest technologies, portability, and a big change in capacity to traditional dross presses, these cost-effective machines have proven their worth at a variety of different foundries, die-casters and casthouses around the world.

ALTEK have developed this technology to further improve dross compaction, cooling and recovery percentages. Namely, re-designing the press head to dross pan relationship has allowed for companies and foundries with varied dross level production to use the press effectively, adding to the already strong versatility of this product range.
