11 April 2024 - Two TYPE 700 Air-Cooled Electromagnetic Stirrers Installed

Altek have installed two TYPE 700 Air-Cooled Electromagnetic Stirrers (EMS) for another satisfied customer. The circulation effect from Altek’s side-mounted EMS is the best industry, utilising flexible frequency and power control combined with quick-switching flow direction to guarantee temperature and chemical homogenisation throughout the entire bath. The circulation of molten metal improves the melt rate, and therefore productivity of the furnace, whilst also significantly reducing energy consumption through improvement of heat transfer. Being completely air-cooled, our EMS technology not only requires less electrical energy to operate compared to water-cooled devices, but ensures no water around the furnace for added safety.
