23 September 2025 - Altek Host A Macmillan Coffee Morning

Last week, we came together to host our very own Macmillan Coffee Morning and what a wonderful event it turned out to be! The room was filled with the smell of freshly brewed coffee, the chatter of friends and colleagues, and the irresistible sight of home-baked cakes that kept everyone coming back for just one more slice

It wasn’t just about the cakes, though, it was about community. People took a moment out of their busy days to sit together, laugh, and share stories, all while raising money for such a vital cause. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, from baking, donating, and of course eating. We are thrilled to share that we raised £214 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Every pound makes a difference, helping Macmillan continue their incredible work supporting people living with cancer and their families. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and joined us. It was a simple idea – coffee, cake, and company, but together, it became something truly meaningful. Here’s to next year’s Coffee Morning being even bigger (and with even more cake!).
